The Eid Prayer Behind an Innovator

Question

An imam has performed the nikah of several pregnant women. He declares the prostration of reverence permissible, supports the innovators, and is also a mufti. What is the ruling on going to the Eidgah (open ground for the Eid prayer) to perform the wajib (the Eid prayer) and praying behind such a person?

Answer

If the Eid prayer is also held at some other place and the imam there follows the sunna, then in the case asked about one should not go to the Eidgah but pray at the other place.
