Praying in Sunnah attire

Question

In Africa, it is customary not to go outside to the market or other places without wearing a coat and trousers; this is considered the local uniform. If a person removes the coat or trousers at home or in the mosque and wears pajamas or a lungi to pray, will his prayer be without dislike (karāhah) or with it?

Praying in Sunnah attire is not makrūh; rather, it is preferable (afḍal), even if the local customary dress differs.
