The Limit of Puberty: Beard and Pubic Hair
Question
Question: At how many years does a boy become adult? And is the appearance of pubic hair, a beard and a moustache a sign of puberty or not?
Answer
A beard, a moustache and pubic hair are not a sign of puberty. Rather, the signs of puberty are inzal (emission of semen), ihtilam (a wet dream) and ihbal (making a woman pregnant). If these signs do not appear, the ruling of puberty will be given on the completion of fifteen years.
