Conditions for the prayer of Istisqāʾ (prayer for rain)

Near Madrasa al-Islah in Sarai Mir there is a village called Bina Para. There the people performed the prayer of Istisqāʾ, led by Mawlana Badruddin Islahi. At the same time, in Jami‘a Faruqiyya, only supplication (du‘a) was performed and no prayer was offered. Answer

When due to lack of water the needs of: people, animals, crops are not fulfilled, then Istisqāʾ is valid and established. Both supplication and prayer are reported for this purpose. In such situations disputes and arguments are unnecessary.
