Which way should the deceased face while the bier is carried?

Question

When, after the deceased has been washed, the janaza is lifted and carried towards the graveyard, which lies to the east, in which direction should the deceased’s feet be placed? If, contrary to the usual practice, they are put forward, the deceased’s face will be towards the side opposite the qibla; if the head is put forward as usual, the deceased’s face will be towards the qibla. How should the deceased be carried?

Answer

The usual way is permissible without any hesitation.
