The bier being light or heavy

Question

Some biers are light when lifted, but after going some distance they become quite heavy; and some biers are altogether light. If there is some reason for this, kindly favour us with an answer.

Answer

In some funerals the angels take part and carry the bier — this much, at least, is in the noble hadith. Perhaps by reflecting on this your question too will be resolved to some extent.
