Learning Something from a Deceased Person in a Dream

Question

If something from the deceased becomes known through a dream, can we be certain that this is what was in their hearts, and that Allah has made it known to us through this dream?

Answer

It is not a conclusive proof (hujja qat‘iyya), for sometimes something certain becomes known, and sometimes not.
