A Verse from the “Nurnama”: Does Allah Have a Body
Question
The “Nurnama” (“The Book of Light”) is recited on Thursdays, and in it is written: [ar]مگر اس کی اپنی سی صورت بنا ٭ رکھا اس میں وہ جو کہ قندیل تھا[/ar] “But, having made a form like His own, He placed in it that which was the lamp.” The question is: does Allah the Exalted have a body?
Answer
Instead of that, recite the noble Qur’an, salawat and istighfar. If the aim is to read aloud for everyone, read the accounts of the noble Companions, the “Virtues of Prayer”, the “Virtues of Charity” and “Hayat al-Muslimin”. And Allah the Exalted is free of any body.
