Hazrat ‘Umar’s ﵁ Rounds of the Market with a Whip

Question

Hazrat Faruq al-A‘zam ﵁ used to go about the market with a whip in hand and would explain the rulings on trade and agriculture — is this correct?

Answer

Yes, Faruq al-A‘zam ﵁ did indeed do a great deal to spread the religion. May Pure Allah grant us too the ability to follow him.
