Vacating a rented house
Question
Question: For about four and a half years I have been living in a rented house at 35 rupees a month. Three years ago it became known that the house was going to be sold, so I arranged another house for myself and decided to move. The owner of the house assured me: “Stay on; you will not be evicted.” Then the owner again began talks about selling it; I myself expressed the wish to take the house, spoke with the owner, and we settled on ten thousand rupees.
Answer
If the seller is not the owner of the house, and the one who is its real owner does not make you vacate it, then do not vacate it.
