A surgeon taking a contract until the wound heals

Question

Question: Nowadays surgeons (jarrah) take a contract until the wound heals. Is this permissible according to the Shari‘a or not? If it is not permissible, can some permissible form for it be found or not?

Answer

Without making a transaction, when the wound heals let them give as a service fee just as much as the contract amounts to.
