Taking flour on credit at the mill
Question
Question: Usually, whenever there is no electric current at the mill and it is completely shut, people take a seer or two (a unit of weight, ≈ 0.93 kg) of flour on credit and leave their own grain; when their grain has been ground, that other flour is deducted, and a deduction for waste (?) and the grinding fee are taken. Is this arrangement correct?
Answer
Deducting the flour in this way against the loan (qard) is correct.
