Reciting Salat and Salam with Folded Hands
Question
Zayd declares it categorically haram to stand at the most sacred grave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and recite salat and salam with folded hands. What is the ruling concerning Zayd? And what is the ruling concerning those who recite salat and salam?
Answer
Some of the revered elders have forbidden folding the hands on this occasion as in prayer, but some other elders have counted it among the rules of etiquette (adab).
