What are the boundaries of the haram of Madinah Munawwara?

Answer

According to the Hanafis, Madinah Munawwara has no haram; hunting and the like there are permissible. [ar]وليس للمدينة المنورة حرم عندنا، فيجوز الاصطياد فيها وقطع حشيشها ورعيه[/ar] “According to us (the Hanafis), Madinah Munawwara has no haram; so hunting in it, cutting its grass and grazing on it are permissible” (“al-Shurunbulaliyya”, vol. 1, p. 253).
