The imam, salam in the mosque, insulting the imam, and superiority by descent

Question

Who should stand behind the imam: a knowledgeable sighted person or a blind ignorant one? Salam when entering the mosque and when leaving the mosque If the worshippers inside the mosque are also praying sunna prayers, is it sunna to greet them with salam or not? And what of entering with a salam at the door and leaving with a salam? Abusing the imam and accusing him If some muqtadi (one praying behind the imam) hurls abuse at his imam and accuses him of sodomy, and then prays behind him, is his prayer valid?

Answer

(1) All the muqtadis stand behind the imam; however, those who stand near the imam should be people who have knowledge, so that if there is need to prompt the imam or otherwise to set the prayer right, it is easy. (2) When those inside the mosque are occupied in prayer, salam should not be given.
