A picture of the Ka‘ba in the house

Question

Is it contrary to God-consciousness (taqwa) to have pictures of the Ka‘ba and of the Rawda (the blessed resting place of the Prophet ﷺ) framed and hung in the house in an attractive and decorative way?

Answer

Making pictures of these sacred and blessed places a means of adornment is contrary to proper reverence (adab).
