A “thabit” or “dhu’l-jadd” month

Question: “When it is the ascent (waxing) of the month (moon), and it is thabit or dhu’l-jadd, and the month is not munqalib, it should be begun on a Thursday.” What I wish to ask is: what is called a “thabit” or “dhu’l-jadd” month?
