Seeing Allah Most High in a dream

Question

Question: I saw a dream, namely: I see that the Exalted Truth (Haqq Taʿala) is seated in all His splendour, a crowd has gathered and a queue has formed. The Most High calls each person one by one and, after asking some easy, trivial question, dismisses him. When the turn of this most humble one (i.e. me) came, the Most High asked some question; I do not know what that question was, nor did I come to know what question the other people were asked, nor is the answer known.

Answer

The dream is blessed; in sha Allah, you will be dealt with leniently. The frightening by the scholars too is not of their own making: it is taken from the narrations and the texts (nusus). Whoever is touched by the grace of God remains safe. The Pure God is free and clear of shape and form, but when His manifestation (tajalli)
