Seeing one’s teacher naked in a dream

Question

Question: I saw my teacher in a dream: he was going somewhere in a naked state. I gently asked him where he was going like this, and I lifted him up in this state into my arms so that I could put clothes on him — and at once I woke up. What is the interpretation of this dream?

Answer

The dream is blessed. It is an indication that your respected teacher is leaving the perishable garment of this world and adopting the garment of God-consciousness (libas al-taqwa), while you, out of extreme attachment, regard it as goodwill that he should not abandon the means of this world.
