Interpretation of a dream with the words “This is by the grace of my Lord”

Question

Question: I saw in a dream that I went to the house of a relative, and he said to me: “Write this and put it up.” I do not remember the first words; the following words are: هَذَا مِنْ فَضْلِ رَبِّي (“This is by the grace of my Lord”). The house has two storeys — he told me to put it up on it. The man who said this is still alive. After that I came home at once and saw that my respected mother was lying down; she called me close and began to say: “How did the world come to please Hazrat Adam ﵇?

Answer

In this dream there is an indication of two things. First, whatever there is in this world, one should regard it as having been received purely by the grace of the Most Pure God: my standing was not such that I deserved it, nor has my effort any part in it.
