The litany “Qul huwa Allahu ahad, ya Jibra’il”

Question

Question: What is the ruling on reciting “Qul huwa Allahu ahad, ya Jibra’il” (قل هو الله أحد يا جبرائيل), taking the name of the appointed angel with every verse? Is it permissible or impermissible?

Answer

The Noble Qur’an should be recited just as it was revealed and as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited it and made the noble Companions ﵃ hear it and taught it to them; no one has the right to alter or change anything in it.
