Hosting non-mahram women
Question
Question: Some women whose occupation is dancing and singing in troupes (companies) expressed a wish to visit the residence of a God-fearing, pious man. He had permission to come conveyed to them through other children. He instructed the women of his household to entertain these women with snacks, tea and the like. On that occasion no non-mahram man, nor he himself, took part in entertaining them.
Answer
This God-fearing man did not invite these women to his house; rather, they went of their own accord, and they were entertained in such a way that he himself did not join them and no non-mahram man joined them. This manner had such an effect that they became conscious of their wrongdoing. Is it unlikely that Allah Most High grants them the success (tawfiq)
