The Second Majlis: Disputations in Verse — Chaman, Qamar, Nāz, Asrār and Mushtāq

Answer

The talk was of disputations, and on this he said: "Chaman." The respected Chaman Qādrī — who is also a spiritual guide — took part in a disputation and was speaking with much simpering and affectation; while on their side of the platform everyone was talking at once. To this I said: why is everyone speaking? Nothing can be made out — has Ghālib come into view?
