The Tea Assembly at the Dār al-Iftāʾ: An Isnād for an Anecdote and a Mango-Stone Down the Collar
Answer
The tea assembly. After some time tea would be sent for. (Tea was ordered for the whole staff once, and sometimes twice, every day, and it was always at Ḥaḍrat Wālā's ﵋ own charge: he generally sent a chit to the shopkeeper, and the account was settled at the end of the month.)
