Verses of the respected Mawlānā Muftī Muḥammad Yūsuf — may his glory increase — a teacher at Dār al-ʿUlūm Deoband, on the khanqah (a Sufi lodge) of Masjid Chatta; he named them "The Days and Nights of the Khanqah Maḥmūdiyya," and they are known as the Nurnama ("The Book of Light"). First part.
