A form of purchasing in order to avoid tax
Question
Question: Since the government levies a tax on purchasing goods, Zayd, in order to avoid this tax, buys and sells goods without informing the government. May he bring goods in this way and sell them, or not?
Answer
For an owner to sell his own property and to buy from wherever he wishes is all valid; but acting against the law and putting one’s honour at risk is contrary to good sense.
