Selling Goods at a Profit to the Person Who Brought Them

Question

A person, himself paying the hire, had his goods brought through him; had the money been lost or the goods broken at the hands of the one bringing them, the responsibility for that was not on him. In any case, he brought the goods and handed them into my possession (qabd). After that I added a profit and sold those goods to him. Is this profit permissible or not?

Answer

This form is permissible.
