Will the Houris of Paradise Perish?

Question

In the Holy Qur’an it is stated that every thing will perish except the Exalted Lord. So tell us: will annihilation (fana) come upon the angels or not? For they too are included in “everything”. Will the houris who will be in Paradise have bodies or not? If they have bodies, will they perish or not?

Answer

The angels too will perish. In Paradise the houris will have bodies befitting the glory of that place; man too will receive such a body; and thereafter nothing there will perish.
