A vow to distribute wheat

Question

Question: Zayd intended: “If my wife is cured of her illness, I will have her distribute with her own hands so many maunds (a unit of weight, ≈ 37 kg) of wheat and rupees to the poor.” She recovered. Now Zayd intends to give the value of the said wheat and the rupees to some madrasa. Is this permissible or not?

Answer

It is permissible.
