الْحَلَالُ بَيِّنٌ وَالْحَرَامُ بَيِّنٌ، وَبَيْنَهُمَا مُشَبَّهَاتٌ لَا يَعْلَمُهَا كَثِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ، فَمَنِ اتَّقَى الْمُشَبَّهَاتِ اسْتَبْرَأَ لِدِينِهِ وَعِرْضِهِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and between them are doubtful matters that many people do not know. Whoever guards against the doubtful matters protects his religion and his honor.”

Basic methacrylate copolymer (E1205, EUDRAGUARD protect / EUDRAGIT E, Evonik) is a cationic copolymer of the petrochemical monomers DMAEMA, BMA, MMA (c1–c3), polymerised in isopropanol (c7) with an undisclosed initiator and alkyl mercaptan (c20, c22); in the EU a glazing agent for solid supplements.
