The Holy Quran 8:59 — Surah Al-Anfal

Arabic text

وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ سَبَقُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ لَا يُعْجِزُونَ

Translation

The Kuffaar should never think that they have gone ahead (and escaped Allaah's punishment). They are definitely unable to escape (disgrace and punishment).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ولا يظنن الذين جحدوا آيات الله أنهم فاتوا ونجَوْا، وأن الله لا يقدر عليهم، إنهم لن يُفْلِتوا من عذاب الله.
