The Holy Quran 3:161 — Surah Ali 'Imran
Translation
(When Rasulullaah ﷺ was accused of taking a shawl that belonged to the booty, Allaah revealed the verse stating,) It is not (possible) for any Nabi to deceive (to be dishonest or hypocritical). He who deceives shall bring the object of his deceit (the item he deceived others to get) on the Day of Judgement. Then every soul shall be repaid in full for what it had earned (in this world) and they will not be oppressed (none shall be deprived of any reward or be punished for what s/he did not do).
Tafsir (excerpt) —
