The Holy Quran 3:160 — Surah Ali 'Imran

Arabic text

إِن يَنصُرْكُمُ ٱللَّهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَكُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَخْذُلْكُمْ فَمَن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يَنصُرُكُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ ۗ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ

Translation

If Allaah helps you (as in the Battle of Badr), then none can overcome you, and if He leaves you without assistance (as in the Battle of Uhud), then who is there to help you? Only in Allaah should the Mu'mineen trust.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

إن يمددكم الله بنصره ومعونته فلا أحد يستطيع أن يغلبكم، وإن يخذلكم فمن هذا الذي يستطيع أن ينصركم من بعد خذلانه لكم؟ وعلى الله وحده فليتوكل المؤمنون.
