Washing the Feet by Putting Them into the Pool

Question

When the imam of a royal Jami' mosque performs wudu at the pool, he washes his feet by putting them into the pool and pours his leftover water into it. Does this not cause any defect or harm to the water of the pool? Does this water remain pure?

Answer

If the pool is large (ten by ten cubits), the water has not become impure, although cleanliness requires that this not be done.
