Not breaking the fast on a radio report

What is the ruling concerning those who did not break the fast on the radio news and completed 30 fasts?

Answer

Since the sighting had not been established, those who acted in this way acted correctly, as has already been quoted from al-Durr al-Mukhtar: [ar]وشرط للفطر[/ar] “And for the Fitr the condition is…”.
