The ruling on fasting when there is a 24-hour difference in the matla'

Question

An aerial game has been invented from aeroplanes: from there players play ball, and the ball rolls down to that same place (?); in the matla' there, a difference of 24 hours arises. If the people in the air fast on Saturday, is it necessary for the people of the nearby country to fast on that same day?

Answer

If the sighting there is established in the Shari'a way, the ruling will be to fast during the day; otherwise not.
