When a Lone Person Must Stand Behind the Row

Question

If the congregation is seated in the final sitting (qa'da), what should a single person arriving late do — should he sit alone behind?

Answer

If he came and joined [the congregation] in the final sitting and the row is full, he should sit behind alone.
