Moving Slightly Forward and Back Because of Cramped Space
Question
A worshipper in the mosque who stands next to the wall touches the wall with his buttocks when he goes into ruku‘, so he has to move forward a little, and then, when rising, he has to step back a little. This happens in every rak‘a. Does this movement cause a defect in the prayer or not?
Answer
Because of the narrowness of the place, the prayer does not become fasid (invalid) through such slight movement.
