What did the Prophet ﷺ say about praying in congregation?

Answer

Strong encouragement and great virtue for praying in congregation are mentioned in authentic hadith. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Prayer in congregation is twenty-seven times superior to prayer alone.” Failing to attend the congregation was considered a sign of hypocrisy. It is reported from Abdullah ibn Masud (raḍiyallāhu ‘anhu)
