A Silk Case for the Quran

What is the ruling on making a case for the Quran from silk cloth?

Answer

A case made of silk cloth may be used for the Holy Quran — there is no prohibition in this. What is haram for men is wearing silk [on the body]; silk itself is not haram absolutely.
