Nikah with One’s Mother’s Maternal Uncle

Question

Is one’s mother’s maternal uncle among the prohibited relatives (muharramat) or not?

Answer

He is included. [ar]وكذا بنات الأخ والأخت وإن سفلن[/ar] “Likewise the daughters of a brother and of a sister, however far down they descend” (“‘Alamgiri”, vol. 2, p. 273).
