Second Nikah of a Woman Given an Irrevocable Talaq During Her ‘Idda

Question

Can a woman with whom intercourse has taken place and who has been given a ba’in (irrevocable) talaq contract nikah with another man within the ‘idda or not? Provided that the intercourse is established, is it halal or not?

Answer

Contracting such a nikah is haram.
