A second nikah without the first wife's permission does not annul the first nikah

Question

If someone contracts a second nikah without the consent or permission of his wife, will the second nikah then not take place?

Answer

The first nikah is not annulled because of the second nikah, even if it was contracted without asking the wife's permission.
