Method of visiting graves

Please explain the method of visiting the graveyard and reciting Fatiha.

Answer

One may visit the graveyard on Thursday or Friday, but without strictly restricting the visit to those days. Upon arriving, the person should stand facing the grave with his back toward the qiblah. Then he may recite some Qur’anic chapters such as: Surah Al-Fatiha Surah Al-Ikhlas Surah Al-Falaq Surah An-Nas and other recitations.
