He gave a gift in hope of being looked after, but was not looked after
Question
Question: I made a deed of gift of my land, which was residential, in the name of my own nephew (brother’s son), because I have grown quite old, it is a time of weakness, and my nephews would look after me. But after the deed of gift was made, these people did not render me any service. I also have two daughters. Please tell me whether this deed of gift is wrong or not. It is now my wish to annul this deed of gift; moreover, at that time my condition was also not quite right.
Answer
If merely a document was written and they were not put in possession, then the gift has not yet been completed, and there is the right to annul it. Depriving the daughters is also bad and a sin.
