How to make gifts to one’s children during one’s lifetime

Question

Question: Zayd, during his lifetime, is dividing what he has among his children. The said Zayd has one son and two daughters. What does each come to per rupee?

Answer

The right of inheritance will arise after Zayd’s death. If he wishes to give during his lifetime in order to prevent disputes, he should give them all equally — this is what is appropriate.
