Repentance for touching the Qur’an without wudu’ and entering the mosque without ghusl
Question
A man often touched the Noble Qur’an without wudu’, entered the mosque without ghusl, and often had intercourse with his wife during the days of menstruation (hayd). Now he regrets it, is afraid, and repents. Will his sin be forgiven through repentance or not? If there is some other way of obtaining forgiveness, kindly give an answer; please prescribe whatever way would be beneficial for him, so that he may escape the punishment.
Answer
Let him turn his face in humility before God and make sincere repentance. Allah ﷻ is Oft-Returning, Most Kind, Most Merciful; He will forgive. Let him also give some charity (sadaqa) according to his means.
