Sleeping naked
Question
Question: A man sleeps at night completely naked. What is the ruling on this habit? If, while sleeping, he wears loose trousers or ties on a cloth, then on getting up in the morning he sees wetness on it. So will the prayer be valid in the garment with the wetness or not? And is it proper to sleep naked or not?
Answer
Sleeping completely naked is makruh. The garment on which wetness was seen after sleep has become impure (najis). If that wetness exceeds the excused amount (miqdar al-ʿafw), the prayer in that garment is not valid.
