Eating with the hand put out from under the kurta

Question: In the state of being wrapped in a large shawl in the customary way, is it correct to eat by putting the hand out from under the shawl or not? If there is any kind of impropriety or makruh tanzihi in it, kindly give a clear answer with references to the books. Likewise, if a kurta (long shirt)

Answer

Eating by putting the hand out from under the shawl is correct, and from under the kurta it is also correct. In every case, care should be taken that the ‘awra does not become uncovered.
