Ḥaḍrat Ibrāhīm an-Nakhaʿī, the Faqīh of Kufa, may Allah have mercy on him (d. 96 AH)

He received his education under Ḥaḍrat ʿAlqamah ibn Qays, Masrūq, and al-Aswad ibn Yazīd, and became the heir to Ḥaḍrat ʿAbdullāh ibn Masʿūd's very seat of learning; in his childhood he also had the honor of visiting the Mother of the Believers [Ḥaḍrat ʿĀʾishah].
